Position Title: Storage Development Engineer
Position Location: Sunnyvale, California
Summary of Duties:
Integrate data reduction technology into Server platforms. Design and implement approach for single system and single console data center management. You will create scalable server management solution that fits within Windows 2008 management framework. Design and develop key Windows integration points required for Dell’s Windows based content aware optimization products. Design and develop solutions suitable for administering data reduction within entire data center. Participate in architecture discussions and help create overall product architecture. Assist quality assurance to resolve test failures.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience as Software Engineer or Programmer Analyst. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience. The position requires demonstrated experience of C/C++; ASP.NET; Windows Component Object Model; MFC; WMI; SNMP; full product life cycle from product concept to product release; WIN32 API.
