| Role Summary/Purpose: |
This position is a business critical role supporting wing-to-wing loss forecasting/actuals for the overall Retail Finance business. In addition, this role works on modeling and stress testing to help forecast losses. |
| Essential Responsibilities |
- § Wing to wing loss forecasting process for RF credit card portfolios (Dual Card, PLCC, Commercial, Securitization):
o Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual loss/reserve forecasting on a portfolio level including all types of losses (Gross/Net Loss and all loss components i.e. Aged, BKO, Fraud, Other)
o Identify loss/reserve drivers on a portfolio level
§ Help enhance current and develop new loss forecasting /reserving wing to wing processes and routines
§ Maintain an operating rhythm and work very closely with offshore team members and with cross functional teams specifically Finance, Collections, Securitization, BKO, Recovery, HQ Risk and external vendors to ensure that forecasts capture strategy changes and process updates
§ Serve as securitization risk supporting process backup
§ Serve as reserves process backup
§ Support/participate in all aspects of financial planning sessions
§ Perform ad hoc analysis as required to assess loss exposure of geographic, regulatory, and economic events etc.

| Qualifications/Requirements: |
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in loss forecasting, reserve management processes, stress testing, risk analytics
• 1+ years SAS programming experience

The Lead Analytics Programmer role is a member of Audit Analytics CoE Project team, who collaborates with the operations and development teams to code, debug, test and document sustainable solutions to enhance our analytical capabilities and deploy cutting edge analytics to clients. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with various audit teams to design and implement cost-effective and efficient audit solutions. |
| Essential Responsibilities |
This role requires an individual with strong programming language (Visual Basic or Java) skills as well as deep data analytics (such as ACL or SQL Server) tool exposure. Experience with business intelligence tools such as (Tableau, Cognos, Microstrategy, etc) is a plus. The individual should be deeply analytical in order to translate business requirements into analytical reports and dashboards
Design, code, test, debugs, implement, document and maintain complex data solutions
Collaborate with business process owners to define technical requirements and design specifications for complex data analytics solutions
Ensure that the solutions deliver the functionality as outlined within the functional requirements document and is tested and maintained
Capture requirements and prioritize them for future releases and generations of the system and framework
Provide troubleshooting and maintenance on all implemented solutions
All aspects of change control
Optimization, enhancement and piloting of test scripts
Lead and coordinate the QA development team, Adhere to all coding standards and sustainability |
