In an economy as bad as this one, it’s hard to hear about a business that’s doing well, but Thurston Manufacturing Company in Nebraska is. And what does that mean for you? Well, jobs. Thurston Manufacturing Company is a family owned and operated business. And fortunately for them the Agriculutral business hasn’t seemed to suffer too much in this economy.
“Our sales our up at least 50 percent in the last year and were looking to do even more with international efforts and domestic and new products,” said CEO Ryan Jensen.
That’s why they’re hiring 25 full time employees to fill a variety of positions. Anything from welders, to maintenance to office assistant. And the good news is there’s no resume required.
“If they have any experience in those areas, it’s a good thing, but we also do train. So really what were looking for is dependable people who will show up to work and work hard and be proud of what they do,” said Jensen.
And in this economy people are looking for jobs that offer stability and some financial security .
“I think its getting tougher and tougher out there. And what do they expect us to do, we all need money. We all have bills and everything,” said Juan Jrenerganynn.
The Thurston Manufacturing Company plans to finish it’s building expansion by next summer. At that time they will be looking to hire even more people.
